Test Photos and Signatures

FairTest supports capturing photographic evidence and signatures with every test for compliance and record-keeping.

Result Photos​

These are photos of the test result itself (e.g., a photo of the testing device or lab slip).

  • Upload multiple photos per test
  • Drag and drop or use the file picker
  • On mobile, take photos directly with your device camera

ID Photos​

Photos of the employee's identification to verify their identity at the time of testing.

  • Upload multiple ID photos per test
  • Useful for verifying the correct person was tested

Signatures​

Capture the employee's signature to confirm they participated in the test.

  • Use the on-screen signature pad to capture signatures
  • Works with mouse on desktop or touch/finger on mobile and tablets
  • Signatures are saved as images attached to the test record

Photo Storage and Security​

  • All photos are stored in a private storage bucket — they are not publicly accessible
  • Photos are organised by organisation, test, and type
  • To view photos, FairTest generates signed URLs that expire after 1 hour
  • Only authorised team members in your organisation can access test photos

Managing Photos After Logging​

When editing a test, you can:

  • View all existing photos
  • Delete photos you no longer need
  • Add new photos
  • Replace or remove signatures

All photo changes are recorded in the test's audit trail.
