Editing a Test

You can update test details after logging, such as adding results for a pending test or correcting information.

How to Edit a Test

  1. Go to Tests
  2. Click on the test you want to edit
  3. The edit modal opens with two tabs: Details and Audit History

Details Tab

You can update:

  • Status — change from Pending to Completed when results arrive
  • Result — add or update the test result
  • Test Type — correct the test type if needed
  • Date/Time — adjust the test date
  • Notes — add or update notes

Managing Photos

  • View existing result and ID photos
  • Delete photos that are no longer needed
  • Add new photos

Managing Signatures

  • View the existing signature
  • Replace with a new signature
  • Remove the signature

Audit History Tab

Every change to a test is recorded in an immutable audit trail. The Audit History tab shows:

  • When the change was made
  • Who made the change
  • What changed (before and after values)
  • Views — who has viewed the test record

You can export the audit history to CSV for compliance records.

Tips

  • All edits are tracked — you cannot silently modify a test record
  • Audit history cannot be deleted or modified
  • If you update a test result to Positive, a notification will be sent (if enabled)
