Managing Test Types

Test types define the kinds of drug and alcohol tests your organisation performs.

Adding a Test Type​

  1. Go to Setup > Test Types
  2. Click Add Test Type
  3. Enter:
    • Name (required) — e.g., "Urine Drug Screen", "Oral Fluid Test", "Breath Alcohol"
    • Description (optional)
  4. Click Save

Editing and Deactivating​

  • Click Edit to update details
  • Toggle to Inactive to remove from active use

How Test Types Are Used​

  • Test logging — select the test type when logging each test
  • Reports — filter and group results by test type
  • Results Breakdown — compare outcomes across different testing methods

Tips​

  • Set up all test types your organisation uses before you start logging tests
  • Deactivating a test type won't affect existing test records
