Message Log

The Message Log shows a complete history of all emails and SMS messages sent by FairTest on behalf of your organisation.

Accessing the Message Log

Go to Setup > Message Log to view all sent messages.

Filters

Use the filters at the top to narrow your results:

  • Search — search by recipient name, email, phone number, or subject line
  • Channel — filter by All, Email, or SMS
  • Status — filter by All, Sent, or Failed
  • Date range — filter by a specific time period

Table Columns

ColumnDescription
DateWhen the message was sent
ChannelEmail (blue badge) or SMS (purple badge)
Event typeWhat triggered the message — e.g., Selection Created, Positive Result, Selection SMS
RegardingThe employee the message relates to (clickable link to their profile)
Sent toThe recipient's email address or phone number
StatusSent (green badge) or Failed (red badge)

Viewing Message Details

Click any row to expand it and see:

  • Subject line — the full email subject
  • Message body — the complete message content
  • Error message — if the message failed, the error details are shown here

Pagination

The log displays 25 messages per page. A message count is shown above the table, and pagination controls appear at the bottom when there are more than 25 messages.
