Testing Provider Accounts

If your organisation is a testing provider — a company that performs drug and alcohol testing on behalf of other organisations — FairTest has a dedicated provider mode built for you.

What Is a Provider Organisation?

A provider organisation is a testing company that manages testing for one or more customer organisations (employers). Instead of each employer managing their own FairTest account, you manage testing on their behalf.

How It Works

  • Your organisation is set up as a Provider (rather than the default Employer type)
  • You create and link customer organisations under your provider account
  • You get full access to each customer's setup data, employees, selections, and test logging
  • Each test you log for a customer is automatically tagged with your provider ID for clear accountability

What You Can Do as a Provider

  • Create customer organisations — set up new employer accounts linked to your provider
  • Manage customer setup data — locations, departments, job classifications, employees, and more
  • Run selections for your customers
  • Log tests for customer employees (with provider attribution)
  • View reports across your customer base

Customer Independence

Customer organisations you create can also exist independently:

  • Customers can log into their own FairTest account and view their data
  • The provider link can be removed if a customer decides to manage testing in-house
  • Historical test data and provider attribution are preserved

Billing

Provider organisations are billed based on the number of linked customer organisations. Each customer org you manage counts toward your subscription.
