Logging Tests on Mobile

Log tests from anywhere using your mobile device. The mobile app provides the same test logging capabilities as the web app, optimised for field use.

Logging a Test​

  1. Tap Log Test from the dashboard or navigate to the Tests tab
  2. Select an employee — search by name to find the person being tested
  3. Choose a test type from your organisation's configured test types
  4. Set the result:
    • Negative
    • Positive
    • Inconclusive
    • Void
    • Pending
    • Refused
    • Not Found
    • Deferred
  5. Capture evidence (optional):
    • Result photo — take a photo of the test result using your camera
    • ID photo — take a photo of the employee's identification for verification
    • Signature — capture the employee's signature on screen
  6. Add notes — enter any additional details or observations
  7. Set date and time — defaults to the current date and time, but can be adjusted
  8. Link to a selection — if testing from a selection event, link the test to it
  9. Tap Save

GPS Location​

Your GPS location is captured automatically when you log a test. Ensure location services are enabled for FairTest in your device settings.

Batch Testing​

When logging tests from a selection, you can log multiple tests in sequence. The test type and GPS location carry over between tests, so you only need to select the employee and record the result for each subsequent test.

Photos​

Photos are automatically compressed before upload to save bandwidth and storage. Standard image formats (JPG, PNG) are supported.
