Downloading the FairTest Mobile App
The FairTest mobile app is the fastest way for testers in the field to log tests, run selections, and capture photo and signature evidence — all with offline-friendly photo handling and biometric login.

- iOS (iPhone & iPad) — Download from the App Store
- Android — Download from Google Play
You can also open the Account page in the web app to scan a QR code that takes you directly to the store listing for your device.
Requirements

Biometric unlock (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint) is optional and can be enabled after sign-in.
Installing on iOS
- Open the App Store
- Search for FairTest or use the direct link
- Tap Get to install
- Open the app and tap Sign In — the web login page opens securely in an in-app browser
- Sign in with your usual FairTest credentials (password, Google, Microsoft, SAML SSO, or magic link)
- When prompted, allow Face ID and other permissions to enable the full feature set
Installing on Android
- Open Google Play
- Search for FairTest or use the direct link
- Tap Install
- Open the app and tap Sign In — the web login page opens in a secure browser tab
- Sign in with your usual FairTest credentials
- When prompted, allow fingerprint and other permissions
First-time setup
After signing in, we recommend:
- Enable biometric login in Account settings so you don't need to re-enter your password each time
- Grant camera and location permissions so test photos and GPS evidence work without prompts mid-test
- If your organisation has multiple workspaces, confirm the correct one is selected — your active organisation appears at the top of the dashboard
App updates
The app updates automatically through the App Store and Google Play. iOS users may also receive over-the-air updates that ship between store releases — these install in the background the next time you open the app.
You can always check the installed version under Account → About.
