UKG Ready Integration

FairTest integrates with UKG Ready (formerly Kronos) to sync employee data and enable real-time "who's punched in" selections.

Setting Up the Integration​

  1. Go to Setup > Integrations
  2. Click Configure next to UKG Ready
  3. Enter your UKG Ready credentials:
    • API URL — your UKG Ready API endpoint
    • Username and Password
    • Report IDs — the IDs of the reports FairTest needs to access
  4. Click Test Connection to verify your credentials
  5. Click Save

Cost Centre Mapping​

UKG Ready uses cost centres to organise employees. FairTest maps these to your locations, departments, and job classifications.

  1. After connecting, click Load Reports to pull your cost centre data
  2. Map each UKG cost centre to the corresponding FairTest location, department, or job classification
  3. Save your mappings

What the Integration Enables​

Employee Roster Sync​

Import employees directly from your UKG roster:

  1. Go to Employees
  2. Click Import from UKG
  3. FairTest fetches your current roster, maps cost centres, resolves pay types, and imports employees

Who's Punched In Selections​

Run selections based on who is currently on shift:

  1. When creating a selection, choose UKG Ready: Who's Punched In as the scope
  2. FairTest queries UKG for employees currently clocked in
  3. The selection only includes employees who are actively on site

This is the most accurate way to run site-based selections, as it reflects real-time attendance.

Managing the Integration​

  • Enable/Disable — toggle the integration on or off without losing your configuration
  • Re-test connection — verify the connection is still working
  • Update credentials — change your API details if they change
