Employment Hero Integration

FairTest integrates with Employment Hero to sync employee roster data into your FairTest organisation.

Connecting to Employment Hero

  1. Go to Setup > Integrations
  2. Click Connect to Employment Hero
  3. You will be redirected to Employment Hero's login page
  4. Sign in and grant FairTest access
  5. You will be returned to FairTest automatically

Multi-organisation Accounts

If your Employment Hero account has access to multiple organisations, you will be prompted to select which one to connect. You can change this later using the Change Organisation button on the integration settings page.

Entity Mapping Configuration

After connecting, you need to configure how Employment Hero entities map to FairTest. Three dropdowns control this:

Each mapping dropdown shows a "Found: X, Y, Z" list of the available entities from Employment Hero, so you can see what data is available before choosing.

Assigning Entities

After selecting your mapping configuration:

  1. Go to Setup > Locations and assign the correct Employment Hero entity to each FairTest location
  2. Go to Setup > Departments and assign the correct Employment Hero entity to each FairTest department
  3. Go to Setup > Job Classifications and assign the correct Employment Hero entity to each FairTest job classification

Managing the Connection

  • Test Connection — verify your Employment Hero credentials are still valid
  • Enable/Disable toggle — turn the integration on or off without losing your configuration
  • Change Organisation — switch to a different Employment Hero organisation
