Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your FairTest account by requiring a second verification step when logging in.

Setting Up MFA

  1. Go to Account
  2. Find the Multi-Factor Authentication section
  3. Follow the prompts to set up MFA using an authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password)
  4. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app
  5. Enter the verification code to confirm setup

Logging In with MFA

Once MFA is enabled:

  1. Enter your email and password as usual
  2. You'll be prompted for a verification code
  3. Open your authenticator app and enter the current code
  4. You're logged in

Tips

  • Store your recovery codes in a safe place in case you lose access to your authenticator app
  • MFA applies to email/password logins — SSO (Google, Azure) uses your identity provider's MFA settings
  • Contact support if you're locked out of your account
